Will

William Henry Thomas

What must Beefy have thought when coming up to watch the Old Boys in action during the 2007 season? After painfully watching 3 or 4 games, Will finally got the call to play…..and thank god he did! Another woeful batting performance saw Henleaze struggling at 45 for 6 when Thomas came into bat facing a hattrick ball, swatting it to the fence for 4 and single handedly turned the game, instantly becoming a HOB legend! Thankfully the lures of Minor County or County Second XI cricket hasn't proved too strong and we've managed to keep him interested in turning out for the Old Boys. Equally at home with either bat or ball, Thomas holds the record for the most amount of wickets taken in a single season - 35 during 2011.

Strengths: - Unlike the rest of us he can actually play cricket!

Weaknesses: - Kryptonite

Interesting fact: - After playing just 2 games he was top of the sixes chart!
