Greg

Graham Anderson

After joining the Old Boys at the start of the 2011 season, Greg quickly established himself as one of our front line bowlers and much like his namesake Jimmy, his pacey and skiddy action has caused plenty of problems for batsmen over the years. Often too good and too quick for the oppostion, Graham has not taken as many wickets as he's probably deserved but you can guarantee opponents are mightly relieved once his spell has come to an end. Despite only having two shots (forward defensive and slog sweep), Anderson can also be very dangerous with the bat and his quick scoring has got HOBs out of a difficult position on more than one occasion. At the end of the 2012 season Graham took over the Eastfield Inn in Henleaze and has since provided the team with cracking after match sandwiches and Man of the Match pints, hence everyone's expanding waist lines!

Strengths: - Great commitment, can be dangerous with both bat and ball and is the closest thing we've got to an official club sponsor!

Weaknesses: - Doesn't allow lock ins

Interesting fact: - Has never had to shave
